weekend workshop – 19-21/11
Desire is the force that pulls us out of our self-assured being. That seduces us into the world and the unknown. When we desire, we forget what we know and deliver ourselves to the ‘other’. A journey into the unknown. We have learned that our desires are to be fulfilled. But in Tantra we stay far away from easy solutions. Desire rather is a force to help us to see that we are much more than we think we are. That we can relate to the world and others in unforeseen ways. By mirroring other bodies, genders, even objects and animals, or connecting to the elements in sacred union, we lose the limiting perception of what we are and what we can do.
In this workshop we work through our desires, look at them, and overcome their limitations. More than anything the pointed desire of wanting to have and consume, will be morphed into a desirous journey, in which we no longer know exactly what it is that moves us and makes us tremble, scream and open our body to the unknown.
We will work with tantric tools like kriya yoga, movement meditation, touch and voice. In a dance of seduction and alienation. In which nothing is what it seems, and differences melt away.
