In this Tantra workshop, we dive deeper into the Fire techniques used in the practice: active meditations that make use of more intense breathwork, movement and/or touch. Together we look for the spark that ignites the Pillar of Fire that runs through the center of our bodies.

An important ingredient in this work is your active participation: to create a great fire, you first have to heat the stove (1st and 2nd Chakra), gather the wood (getting familiar with the breathing and movements techniques and the ‘bandha’s’ or energy locks), create a spark, and then expand the heat. We will take our time to go through this process step by step, and then celebrate the burning of your ‘inner demons’: the inhibitions that keep you from breathing and moving more freely through your life.

For the Fire Works we work individually, in couples, and in group. We change partners all the time, so you can just come and join the work, with or without experience.

PRACTICAL: The weekend takes place from 26-28 May 2023, starting on Friday at 6pm and ending on Sunday around 5pm.

WHERE: We work at The Monastery Live in Solwaster, close to Verviers. The nearest train station is Verviers. The Monastery Live is a normal house in a beautiful little village that leads into the Ardennes. The village is surrounded by enchanted forests and streams.

PRICE: 220 euros for the weekend, food included.

ACCOMMODATION: You can sleep for free in the studio, or take a bed in a shared room for 25 euros pppn.
